From The Stables – Noel Fehily’s Blog Provides Top Info
He started the 2018 Cheltenham festival off with an 8/1 win in the Grade 1 Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle by riding Summerville Boy who did the business beating Kalashnikov all the way up the hill.
Today he picked a 2nd with Monalee in the RSA Insurance Novices’ Chase, he could have ridden the winner, Presenting Percy but chose the wrong one doh! Still at 10/3 you would have got a better place price on Betfair than the 5/2 favourite.
Remember the big festivals have more place markets in the exchange, with a 20 runner race expect to see at least a 6 To Be Placed Market, along with 5TBP, a normal 4 To Be Placed, 3TBP and a 2TBP. Take your choice and play it safe or even safer. The odds maybe lower but the chance of getting some money back is higher!
Noel also gave great info on his ride on Special Tiara who won the Grade 1 Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase last year. Special Tiara lead quite a bit of the way but Noel had said in his blog that he wanted firmer ground and he was eventually pulled up.
Get in on the action and get top trainers like Andrew Balding giving out his reviews on his own runners and opponents. From The Stables have had many high priced winners from Andrew and he is one their top trainers to listen to when it comes to reviews on his runners.
